Let’s get started.

As we continue this journey together, we're stepping into Solitude—the sacred rhythm where intimacy with God grows deeper & trust in His promises grows stronger.

In today’s episode, we’ll:

1)    open with Scripture’s invitation to solitude,

2)    reflect on how that shapes our walk with God,

3)    share a few simple ways to gently weave into your daily rhythm &

4)    we’ll close with a question.

I encourage you to think about how you might begin creating sacred space for solitude in your own life—where you can simply be with God.

With that in mind let’s unpack this together & dive into what a sacred rhythm can look like for you.

Solitude is a sacred invitation—one you can enter at any moment, wherever you are—to rest, listen, & be still with God

It’s where your soul exhales, your thoughts settle, & your spirit finds renewal.

Jesus Himself modeled this rhythm:

Mark 1:35 says,

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house & went off to a solitary place, where He prayed.”

He withdrew often—led by love, drawn by the desire to be with His Father.

Solitude was essential to how He stayed aligned with the Father’s heart—a sacred rhythm that shaped His every step.

It’s that same invitation He extends to you.

A gentle call to step away from the noise & draw near to Him.

To slow your pace, quiet your soul, & come back to the One who holds you steady.

It’s in that quiet that your soul starts to yearn—to be with Him more deeply, more consistently, more fully.

As a certified Christian Women Life Coach, I hear this from clients all the time:
“I just need day-to-day examples. What does this actually look like?”

Sister—I see you. I hear that longing to be closer to God.

So let’s make this practical.

When I coach women in spiritual rhythms, I often share this principle:
Start small. Celebrate those tiny wins. Let that momentum carry you.

It’s rooted in both coaching science & biblical wisdom.

Every time you pause with God, you’re creating new neural pathways—shaping your heart to return to Him more naturally, more often, more joyfully.

It’s a gentle shift—realigning your day around what matters most: being still with God.

When your heart makes space for that stillness—your trust in His promises grows stronger.

Now that we’ve explained the why behind solitude, let’s look at the how—simple ways to gently invite this sacred rhythm into the flow of your day.

These are quiet, meaningful practices—uncomplicated moments that create space for connection. Weave them into your morning, your midday, or even a sacred pause when your soul needs breath of heaven—as a sacred rhythm.

Here are four beautiful moments you can return to again & again.

1️⃣ Morning Whisper

As you wake, take a moment to welcome the Holy Spirit, pausing for a quiet prayer & stillness.
Let God’s presence steady your heart & set the tone for what’s ahead.

  • Read your Bible — one verse or short passage — nourish your spirit with truth
  • Write in a journal — one thought, one prayer, or one reflection — open space for God’s voice
  • Speak aloud three things you’re grateful for — from your heart — root your soul in joy & trust

2️⃣ Midday Pause

As your day progresses, find a little space to step away.
Whether it’s a quiet walk or a few deep breaths, let yourself remember that God is holding you steady.

  • Take a walk in silence, noticing God’s creation — let your steps become a prayer
  • Listen to worship music — let truth-filled lyrics refocus your heart mid-rhythm
  • Read a daily devotional — renew your mind with a Scripture-centered reflect

3️⃣ Sacred Interlude

Or whenever life calls for a sacred pause, step into that moment with intention.
God meets you right there—offering peace & presence.

  • Share the Gospel — extend love to someone you meet — be a living witness of Christ
  • Seek God’s guidance in decision-making — pause & pray over the next step
  • Meditate on a Bible verse — hold it close to your heart during a break
  • Listen to a Christian podcast — like this one 😊 — let faith fuel your journey

& 4️⃣ Evening Rest

As evening draws near, enter God’s rest with gratitude & peace.

  • Give thanks for the ways God showed up in your life today — & whisper your praise back to Him
  • Memorize a verse of Scripture — let His Word be the last thing on your heart
  • Speak blessings over your home or family — wrap your loved ones in prayerful covering

Now that we’ve journeyed through what Solitude is meant to look like, let’s revisit the path & truths we uncovered & walked today.

We opened with Scripture’s sacred invitation into solitude—where Jesus Himself withdrew often out of deep love & reverence for His Father.

Then, we stepped into what that sacred rhythm means for you—how solitude renews your heart, awakens your yearning, & invites you to abide.

Concluding, we walked through practical ways to make it part of your everyday life—small, sacred pauses where you can be still with God, wherever you are.

So as we close, let God’s truth settle in your spirit. Solitude is a sacred rhythm you’re called to live, to draw near, to listen, & to walk in step with Him.

I invite & encourage you to pause, just for a moment, & ask:
“Where is God inviting me to be still?”

Every moment of solitude becomes an offering—woven into your day as a sacred rhythm of grace.

If something stirred in you today—if you're feeling drawn to go deeper in your walk with God—I’d love to walk alongside with you.
